It teaches you what works, what doesn’t, and where government can do better for the people it serves. After serving as your County Commissioner, I’ve learned valuable lessons about how county decisions affect families, jobs, public safety, and the cost of living here in Josephine County.

That experience has better equipped me to deliver real results for YOU.

I’m focused on what matters most to the people who live and work here:

  • Protecting public safety and law enforcement
  • Supporting local jobs and a strong county economy
  • Keeping essential services strong—without growing government
  • Making county government more transparent, efficient, and accountable

This campaign isn’t about repeating the past. It’s about using experience to do better—smarter, leaner, and more responsibly—for Josephine County families.

Experience has helped me understand how to deliver real results for the people of Josephine County. That’s what I’m focused on, and that’s what I will continue working to deliver:

  • 30 years of managing and operating multi million dollar businesses thru every economy good and bad.
  • 2 years of passing and managing county budgets

  • 2 years managing approximately 450 county employees

  • 2 years of cutting wasteful costs and saving over $2 million for county reserves

  • 1 year serving as Commission Chairman

  • 2 years of cleaning up county codes and bringing them up to date

  • 2 years of creating and passing ordinances

  • 2 years of voting NO on commissioner pay raises

  • 2 years of working for and serving YOU, the people of Josephine County

  • 2 years of maintaining an open-door policy

  • 2 years county commissioner representative at the city economic development committee meetings
  • 2 years county commissioner representative at the chamber of converse meetings and government affairs meetings.
  • 1 year as budget committee chair
  • The only candidate that brings 20 plus years of experience in these departments forestry, building, planning, public works, maintenance, management of others – business finance experience matters.
